About Will

My name is Will and I am a post A-Level student working towards my dream career in the product design sector. I have received an A grade at A Level (2020) and an unconditional offer at university for related courses and will be starting September 2021. I am enthusiastic and passionate about product design/DT and aim to knowledge with others. As 'Head Student for Design and Technology' for my school, I was a definitive part of the department and worked alongside teachers and students to understand and improve the department. I also worked with 4 subject leaders where we were able to help at parents evenings for the college and advise students with coursework or generalised GCSE & A Level Content.

About the lesson

With my extensive product design / DT knowledge combined with my industry experience, I can aid the innovation of your GCSE/A Level portfolio and widen the breadth of your theoretical knowledge to achieve top grades in your Design and Technology studies. With a proven track record at both A - Level (Grade : A) and GCSE (Grades: A* - Portfolio, A - Overall), I provide efficient and coherent 1-1 classes where I base my classes on the individual needs and requests. You will acquire, in-depth and succinct tutoring that’s available to fulfil your individual needs, wether this is Portfolio guidance, or to go through exam style questions to help raise your grades to an exceptional standard.

As a versatile tutor, I am able to adapt to different teaching styles to tailor my 1-1 lessons to your specific requirements. From this, we will create a plan of action, including but not limited to exam questions and creative discussions that inspire your mind to think outside of the box.

Fundamentally, I am principled listener and very enthusiastic for Product Design/ Design and Technology. I am patient and will always strive to create an innovative yet informative lessons to improve your grades. Throughout my time at college being a head student for Design Technology, I was inspired by different methods of learning and creativity and worked hard to showcase this and incorporate it into my own teaching style. This unique experience has enabled to me to not only expand on my own knowledge, but provide a wider range of methods to motivate individuals and push their boundaries.

Due to COVID-19, all tutoring will be online through Zoom or Microsoft Teams and can be booked in one-hour time slots that suit your schedule. When restrictions are eased and allow us to do so, I am also available to work in-person with you, following all current community guidelines, should this be more appropriate for you.
