About Mel
I went to a string instruments school for Elementary and have been in orchestras, rock bands, jazz groups, camp shows, and more for over 7 years. I've tutored for many years and think I have a knack for being positive and gentle with beginners in all areas. We're here to have fun while learning at the same time!

I like to approach beginners guitar a number of ways. Some students benefit from a more structural approach with exercise books, scales and etc. While others benefit from watching and repetition, or free playing. I like to get to know my students so I can find an approach best suited for them! My lessons are geared towards people who have little to no guitar/ukulele experience, or those who are looking to improve their beginner guitar.
