About Samyak

Hey! I'm a second-year pre-med student at King's College London, with 9 A*s at IGCSE — including a Cambridge High Achievement Award in Additional Maths — and a high 6 in IBDP AA HL. Beyond academics, I enjoy guitar, fitness, volunteering, and skydiving. I started tutoring because I know how isolating it feels when school doesn't give you the support you need, and I want to be the resource I wished I'd had. Maths doesn't have to be intimidating — with the right guidance and plenty of practice, every student can surprise themselves. I'd love to help you get there.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for GCSE and IGCSE Maths students who want to see real grade improvements — whether you're preparing steadily throughout the year or need an intensive crash course before exams. I've taught numerous students across GCSE Maths and Combined Sciences, with an average grade improvement of 2 points.

Sessions run for 1 hour, twice a week, and are built around past paper practice — the single most effective way to prepare for these exams. We'll work through both topic-focused questions and full past papers, so you build confidence across the board. I'll also help you work through anything you didn't understand in school, clear up homework questions, and make sure no gaps are left before exam day.

What to expect:
- Structured past paper practice (topic drills + full papers)
- Homework and school doubt-clearing each session
- A tutor who has genuinely been where you are — and topped the results
