About Swarna Nagaraj
My name is Swarna, and I am a passionate STEM educator with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia. Having successfully navigated a rigorous mechatronics concentration and now working actively as an Industrial Automation Tech, I bring an elite level of technical expertise and real-world engineering experience to my students.
I have a strong track record of helping students break down complex, intimidating concepts into simple, manageable steps. I pride myself on being patient, structured, and deeply encouraging. My goal is to not only help your student achieve top grades but to also spark a genuine interest in how science and math shape the world around them.

I specialize in making Math, Physics, and Chemistry clear, intuitive, and engaging for students from Grade 7 all the way up to Senior Calculus. As a University of British Columbia Mechanical Engineering graduate working in the industrial automation industry, I don't just teach students how to memorize abstract formulas I show them exactly how these concepts function in the real world of technology and robotics.
My lessons are conducted entirely online via Zoom using a highly interactive digital workspace. I use a live whiteboard system so your student can follow every math equation or science diagram step-by-step in real-time, exactly as if we were sitting at the same desk.
Whether your student needs to master foundational middle school math, prepare for early high school science, or tackle advanced Grade 12 Calculus and Physics, I structure my sessions to build core technical confidence and eliminate anxiety. Because I value premium quality and dedicated focus, I strictly cap my availability to just two students per term.
