About Shayla
Hello! My name is Shay.
I am currently studying to be a teacher's aide and potentially to be a teacher in the future.
I have been tutoring for 6+ years ever since I was in high school and have always loved it and have had a huge passion for it.
I love making learning as fun as possible and sometimes this involves me telling the worst jokes you have heard in your life.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing my student's grades and confidence in their own abilities improve, and I hope to help more students achieve this.

I have been tutoring since the age of 16 and have many hours of experience teaching every maths topic from ages prep-year 12.
I have a background in working with NDIS kids and have experience tutoring and supporting kids/teens with Autism and ADHD.
Strong passion for helping students gain confidence in their work and helping them to find enjoyment in their school work.
Looking for students aged 8-17 who need support with their maths skills, want to be pushed further, or are starting at ground zero. Sessions are usually an hour, but this can be adjusted to fit the student's needs.
Does not include Maths Methods year 11/12 but does include general and further maths.
