About Omotara

Hi! I'm Tara a present first year Software Engineering student at a university in Canada. I'm a woman in engineering and a woman in STEM! I help students in middle school to high school learn topics in STEM (Math, Physics & ICT) learn in FUN ways virtually. The ways I wished I learnt as a kid!

About the lesson

I deal mainly with middle school children but I can also work with high school students for STEM subjects (Math, Physics & ICT). Being a current university student, my knowledge is being breaded everyday to be apple to pass on effectively. A typical lesson will consist of:
* Refresher activity
* Home work help
*Introduction to lesson
* Explanation
* Q & A
*Exercises (paper based & games)
*Homework assignment
*Any last words & Feedback session
divided based on the time allocated!

Being in the younger age gap, I am able to offer lessons and presentations that will make students from middle school to high school be excited to learn about STEM. I will access the child's interests from the first contact and edit my planned lessons notes & presentations from that. I also inculcate interactive but educative games and power breaks to enable their mind receive the information being passed on! In summary, I combine fun with learning to make it less boring for kids!
