About Lauren
I have been a player for 21 years ( played on collegiate USA team, Illinois travel teams, high school softball teams, recreational teams, and USA athletic international team)
I have coached for 8 years ( coaching players from age 6 to age 18)
I have umpired for 6 years ( age level 5 years to 17 years)
I have a degree in exercise physiology and have worked as an exercise specialist and a personal trainer before starting my doctorate of physiotherapy (current)
I continue to play and occasionally offer coaching to the younger players or those that ask question.

I have previous knowledge of coaching, playing, and officiating various levels allowing me to tailor a session to the need of an individual or group. A typical session would include an agility and strength session along with proper warm up technique following offensive or defensive drills. These drills would be tailored to the experience and skill level of the players and what their goals as a player are. Softball is botha physical and mental game. As time goes on players become more mental base and muscle memory. To work on mental strength game like scenarios will be incorporated into practice. With game like situations the player will be able to think through a play allowing them practice to think on their feet in high pressure and game situations.
Attached is an example of one of my college recruitment videos. As my knowledge grew my abilities grew from this video to the level that I am currently at.
