About Heather

I am a Primary teacher who loves and excels in mathematics. I have been tutoring and teaching for over 30 years. I have taught full-time, part-time and casual, mostly in K-12 independent schools. During that time, I was also Head of Primary in one of my schools. I have taught in a variety of schools in both QLD and NSW.

I love seeing my students excel and understand things that previously they found difficult. I am keen to assist motivated students and take them to the next level. I currently live in Dubbo, NSW. [But keen to move back to QLD:) ]

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is based on personalised learning. I enjoy helping students to answer their own questions and to solve their own problems. My Primary Teaching experience helps me to understand the basics that may be missing, even at a High School level. I identify problem areas and then design activities to fill in the gaps.

Details

40 minute lessons are available and often preferred.
These are better for younger students or students who prefer to learn in smaller, more focussed lessons.
These will be charged at $70 for the 40 minute session.
Package deals will be worked out if desired.
