About Ross
Teaching has always been something I wanted to pursue, and I find it incredibly fulfilling to help students develop their skills and confidence. I have been working as a teacher and tutor for many years, with 12 years of consistent face-to-face tutoring experience.
I want students to leave each lesson feeling that they have learned something new and, just as importantly, feeling more confident in their own ability. My experience, professionalism and genuine enjoyment of teaching allow me to build positive relationships with students while helping them achieve their academic goals.

I aim to make my lessons fun, relaxed and interactive while still ensuring that students are making consistent progress. I adapt my teaching approach to suit each student’s individual needs, ability and learning style. I use a mixture of discussion, questioning, written work, revision activities and practical exercises to keep lessons engaging and build confidence.
Lessons typically last between 45 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the student’s age, level and needs.
I have been consistently tutoring students face-to-face for the past 12 years and have experience working with a range of abilities. I particularly tutor students studying Junior Cycle Irish and can also provide Leaving Certificate Irish tuition when requested.
My main goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their confidence in Irish.
