About Hannah
I'm Hannah, and I'm 17. I sat my GCSEs last year, and I remember how stressful it can be. My methods are tried and tested, having raised grades from a U and a 3 to 4 and 6 respectively. I want to try and make revising and studying easier for students where I can, because I was lucky in that it was something I could do well.

I currently teach two GCSE maths students (years 10 and 11). One student has gone from a U to a 4 in a year, and the other has gone from a 3 to a 6 in six months. I have a range of approaches and techniques, and these differ for each student. Personally, I'm a fan of 'I do, we do, you do', which provides enough guidance to help students understand a concept, but also allows them to work and figure things out for themselves, which helps with memory retention. However, this approach doesn't suit everyone, and so my lessons would be personalised to each students' specific learning preferences.
I got grade 9s in nine of my GCSEs, including maths, physics and statistics, and grade 8s in the remaining two subjects. Now, I am studying A-levels in maths, further maths, chemistry and physics, with predictions of A*s.
Typically, my lessons are between 1 hour and 90 minutes, however I could do longer sessions. (I wouldn't recommend doing lessons shorter than an hour). Usually, 1 or 2 lessons a week, depending on availability.
