About Deeresha

Hello! My name is Deeresha, and I’m passionate about helping young learners grow in confidence and enjoy learning. I am currently studying a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) in New Zealand and have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Global Business Management.

I love creating fun, interactive lessons that make learning exciting and easy to understand. I believe every child learns at their own pace, so I tailor my lessons to suit each student’s individual needs and learning style. My goal is to help children build strong foundations, develop a love for learning, and feel proud of their achievements.

I teach students in Years 1–5 and offer support in English, Mathematics, Reading, Writing, Homework Assistance, and Study Skills. Whether your child needs help catching up, wants to build confidence, or is looking for extra challenges, I’m here to provide a positive, patient, and encouraging learning experience.

About the lesson

I believe every child learns differently, so I create lessons that are engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style and pace. My goal is to build confidence while making learning enjoyable through interactive activities, games, visual resources, storytelling, and hands-on problem-solving where appropriate. I encourage students to ask questions, think independently, and celebrate their progress every step of the way.

Teaching Techniques & Methodology

Typical Lesson Length

* 30 minutes: Ideal for Year 1–2 students.

Qualifications & Experience

I am currently studying a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) in New Zealand and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Global Business Management. I also have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and experience working with young children in educational settings. My background has helped me develop patience, creativity, and effective teaching strategies that support children’s academic and personal growth.
