About Matthew
I was a regional support coach, working with deaf adults who have intellectual disabilities. I have a bachelors’ degree in Psychology. I have volunteered at a deaf camp for a few summers, participated in the American Sign Language Club while at Slippery Rock University, volunteered down in DC with YWAM and had a very good ASL tutor while in DC.

About the lesson

I will use the Gallaudet University textbook that I learned from, for starters. It includes beginning and intermediate levels. The textbook will also be more precise from a grammatical point of view. I like to be enthusiastic while teaching, as I have a passion for the language.
While I will travel to give lessons, the price will be 50 cents per mile, above the $20/hour price for lessons at my home.
Also, I’m currently only available for lessons most Mondays and Tuesdays. Please call at least a week in advance to schedule.
I would like to handle payments separately, not through superprof, so when you contact me to set up a lesson, we will work that out.
