About Courtney
I’ve always loved helping students build confidence in French, and I bring both professional and personal experience to my teaching. I currently manage French programming at a tutoring center, where I support students with a wide range of needs and learning styles.
I’m also completing my Bachelor of Education in French as a Second Language, and I’m passionate about making French feel approachable rather than overwhelming.
Having lived in France, I developed a deeper connection to the language and culture, which I love sharing with my students. As a parent of two children in French immersion, I also understand firsthand the challenges families face, and I enjoy helping students feel more confident and capable.
My goal is to create a supportive, positive learning environment where students can grow and even start to enjoy French along the way.

I teach French at all levels to all ages. In my role managing French programming at a tutoring center, I regularly assess students and design learning plans that actually work for them, not just a generic curriculum.
My approach blends structure with flexibility. I help students understand grammar in a clear, manageable way while also building real confidence in speaking and comprehension.
I aim to make lessons feel supportive, engaging, and productive, so students leave each session feeling more capable than when they started.
