Private lessons for actors, dancers & performers looking to strengthen their acting, movement & stage presence

I’ve had the privilege of working with Derell through Memphis Belle during several cultural and dance programs in Côte d’Ivoire. He is an exceptional coach and teacher who combines discipline, creativity, patience, and genuine passion. What I appreciate most is his ability to connect with people, explain movement clearly, and bring out the best in every performer, regardless of their level.

Beyond his talent as a dancer and performer, Derell knows how to transmit confidence, energy, and purpose. Watching him work with young dancers and performers has shown me that he doesn’t simply teach choreography—he helps people grow as artists and as individuals.

I highly recommend Derell to anyone looking to improve their acting, dance, movement, or performance skills. Working with him is always a valuable and inspiring experience.

I’ve worked with Derell for many years and experienced his coaching of dance, music, and theater firsthand. He’s passionate, caring, and handles both beginners and professionals. He can choreograph on any level and pulls out the best in everyone in all performing arts disciplines. People feel better about themselves after working with Derell. He teaches with creativity, curiosity, and inspiration. As a former Associate Producer of Disney’s The Lion King, I know an arts educator when I meet one. Derell is among the best!
