About Alexander
After graduating from the University of Nottingham, I decided to follow my passion for the stage and trained as an actor at the prestigious Oxford School of Drama. After acting professionally, I then made the move into the brave new world of Drama and English teaching, eventually leading the Drama department of a Performing Arts school in central London. Subsequently, I enjoyed 11 years as a senior leader (whilst always teaching Drama and English of course!) as both an Assistant Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher at both state and independent schools in Lincolnshire. As a leader, I've led revision and exam skills programmes, delivering workshops on the most effective revision techniques that can unlock your inner revision guru. With 20 years of experience as a Drama and English teacher, training from a top drama school (The Oxford School of Drama) with experience as a professional actor and 11+ years of experience as Assistant Head and Deputy Head (both state and private schools), I can help you to supercharge your progress. Whether you're looking for bespoke acting masterclasses, targeted Drama (from ages 10 to 18 including GCSE and A Level), English revision support (from ages 10 to 16 including GCSE) or across-the-board exam and revision support, I can help. I've even worked with students on subjects such as GCSE Geography and GCSE History in order to unlock their inner revision guru. Classes can be face-to-face (I'm based in Lincoln) or online (Teams or Zoom) - whatever you feel works best for you.
