About Marie

I am a French native speaker from Normandy and I have lived in the UK for the past 20 years. I have a very approachable personality and enjoy meeting people from various backgrounds. I am naturally inquisitive and I enjoy learning new things, reading, being active, cooking and meeting people. I am also a professional and reliable individual.

About the lesson

I have worked in various educational settings ranging from primary to secondary education, as well as in adult learning environments. I have also successfully tutored and taught privately for over 10 years. I also run intervention and support sessions at my local secondary and primary schools. I am particularly experienced with GCSE and A-level training. I also enjoy teaching adults who are returning to education or simply wish to learn and/or develop a new skill. I understand that personal ambitions and circumstances vary from one learner to another and together, we adapt the lessons around your specific needs and ambitions. I am flexible and approachable. I tailor my teaching around your specific needs and ambition. I ensure that all linguistic skills are delivered in an effective and accessible way. My students feel very comfortable and confident to speak and experiment with the language. The feedback is always positive and very encouraging and my students' progress and grades are extremely rewarding. Local secondary schools have recommended my help on several occasions and continue to request my services.
