About Hibo
As an ambitious tutor with extensive experience of teaching young individuals aged 5 - 17. My years of teaching have taught me that creating and fostering positive attitudes towards learning is essential to success.
My main profession is an Auditor / Accountant. Maths constitutes a large part of my day therefore I am more than comfortable and capable to work with yourself and child to develop their understanding in mathematical models, principles and algorithms.
Over my years in teaching, I have worked with students from various backgrounds and academic levels.
I specialise in connecting with and motivating less enthusiastic students and non traditional learners by providing a safe, fun atmosphere. I aim to give the student a valued relationship where they feel free to make mistakes and excited to learn.
As an individual who suffers from dyslexia, I too struggled with traditional learning techniques and have devised a new strategy to allow students such as myself to get the most out of their education.

My teaching style is adaptable and flexible around the individuals needs and requirements. Generally, I tend to heavily develop their problem solving skills by solving the root of the problem. Whether this is academics or attitudes to learning, we work together on the underlying principles that keep young people away from success. From there, the student, parent and I develop an action plan to ensure they are on track to attain their desired grades.
