About Soutrik

I am Soutrik Banerjee, bassist and music producer from Mumbai, India. I have been playing bass guitar for the past 13 years. I have played in concerts, clubs and festivals all over India and in a few other countries with some of the top professionals in the music industry. I have taught over 100 students many of who are professional musicians today. I want to share my knowledge and help you get to your goals as quickly and effortlessly as possible. Let's make learning bass fun.

About the lesson

In my classes you'll experience :
1. Bass lessons ranging a lot of musical styles from pop, rock, bollywood, funk, r&b, country, blues, metal etc.
2. Absolute basics to advanced groove building concepts (including techniques like slap bass, double thumb and tapping)
3. Song request classes for you to learn the bass lines to your favourite songs.
4. How to figure out songs by ear.
5. Interactive explanation and practice material for your preferred style of music.
6. Tips about music theory, tone making, playing on stage, and songwriting.
