About Isaiah

Hello! My name is Isaiah Korankye, and I am a dedicated English teacher from Lagos, Nigeria. I hold a diploma in Community-Based Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from University of Wenniba, Ghana. What inspired me to become a teacher is my deep passion for helping people communicate confidently in English and open new doors in their lives. With 4 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of all ages — from young learners and teenagers to adults and business professionals. I am skilled at creating fun, interactive lessons that focus on speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, and real-life conversation. My teaching style is patient, energetic, and student-centered; I love using games, stories, music, and everyday situations to make learning enjoyable and effective. In my free time, I enjoy reading African literature, playing football, traveling, cooking Nigerian dishes, and learning about different cultures. I often bring these interests into my lessons so students can practice English while exploring fun topics. I am very excited to join Superprof and help more students achieve their English goals. I look forward to meeting you and your students soon.

About the lesson

My Teaching Style
I don't lecture — I have conversations. I figure out exactly where you're stuck and explain it in a way that clicks for you, whether that's examples, visuals, or just breaking it down simply.

Techniques I Use
I ask questions instead of just giving answers, connect lessons to real life, and revisit tricky topics until they stick. Learning should make sense, not just sound good in theory.

Lesson Length
Usually 45 to 60 minutes — enough time to cover ground without losing focus. Younger students get shorter sessions. Exam prep can run longer with breaks built in.

My Experience
I've tutored students across different levels for several years. I know the Nigerian curriculum well — WAEC, JAMB, NECO — and I've helped students turn failing grades into passes they're proud of.

Who I Teach
Primary and secondary school students, JAMB candidates, and university students. Also adults who want to improve their English or study skills. If you're willing to put in effort, I'll meet you there.
