About Sean

Hi, my name's Sean. I hold a degree in English, graduating with First-Class Honours, and I am also a fully qualified professional English teacher with over ten years' experience teaching at prestigious secondary schools in the UK, Spain and the Middle East. I am also a qualified proofreader, and so if you require the proofreading of a document then I would be more than happy to help with this. Whatever your specific requirements may be, you can be assured that I will call on all of the skills and experience I have gained over the years to ensure that our classes are engaging, challenging and tailored to your needs in order to give you or your child the best possible chance of reaching your/their objectives. About the lesson

I am a highly experienced professional English teacher, with over ten years of classroom experience at high-achieving secondary schools in the UK, Spain and the Middle East. I also hold a degree in English Language, graduating with First-Class Honours from The University of Manchester in 2008. I specialise in teaching English Language and Literature at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and have an excellent track record of helping my students reach and surpass their goals, most notably in the AQA and Edexcel GCSE and A level exams. Many of my former students have gone on to study at Oxbridge and esteemed Russell Group universities. When connecting with a new student, my immediate priority is to work alongside student and parents to ascertain their requirements and goals, before establishing a bespoke learning pathway that is realistic and clearly defined but also fluid and flexible. Whatever your specific requirements may be, you can be assured that I will call on all of the skills and experience I have gained over the years to ensure that our classes are engaging, challenging and tailored to your child's needs in order to give them the best possible chance of reaching their objectives. Perfect! An Amazing Teacher
Sean has been a great teacher for my daughter. He was very punctual, and willing to adapt to what his student needs. For example, my daughter wanted face-to-face lessons, which he agreed to do, despite having to spend time travelling to and back from our house, as well as reading through literature texts the he didn’t originally teach it, so that he can help my daughter improve on them. He really helped better her English skills a lot, which certainly weren’t great before. Sean, also, put in a lot of effort into his lessons and made very informative, detailed PowerPoints and was just, overall, very kind and hardworking. We appreciate his help very much, and definitely recommend him as a teacher.
