About Craig
Hey, I’m Craig.
I’ve been a professional film and television actor for more than 30 years, including five seasons leading the television series The Listener. Over that time I’ve worked opposite and alongside hundreds of actors, with different directors, different material, different pressures and completely different ways of working.
One of the biggest things that experience has taught me is that every actor is different.
That’s become a huge part of how I coach. I’m not interested in making you act like me or forcing you through one technique because that’s how you’re “supposed” to work. I want to understand you — what’s already there, what excites you, what gets in your way, what needs more craft and what needs more freedom.
I know this profession from the inside — auditions, rejection, waiting, pressure, self-tapes, agents, opportunities and all the stretches where nothing seems to be happening. So when it’s useful, I can also help with reel material, headshots, finding opportunities, representation and figuring out what your next step actually needs to be.
But the acting comes first.
Learn the craft. Understand yourself as an actor. Build a process you can trust.

If you’re just starting, acting can feel pretty overwhelming. You get handed a scene and suddenly you’re supposed to know what to do with it.
I’ll teach you how to investigate a script, understand the circumstances, build the relationships, discover what you need from the other person, and start making the character and the scene mean something to you.
Just as importantly, we’ll discover how you work. Over time, you build a consistent approach to material — something you can return to from character to character without forcing every role through the same formula.
I believe in preparing deeply. But all that preparation eventually has to give you the freedom to let it go.
Actors at every level can struggle with this: they do all the work, then feel they have to show it. They start judging what’s happening while they’re inside the scene instead of listening, responding and allowing themselves to be affected.
There’s no judgment in the room and nothing to prove to me. Your first read isn’t a test — it gives us information, and we start there.
We can work on acting fundamentals, script and scene breakdown, character development, relationships and circumstances, listening, imagination, scene study, cold reading, auditions, self-tapes, callbacks and booked roles.
Sometimes I’ll also give you a small real-world challenge between sessions — something to notice, try or observe — because the world is part of the training.
I work with actors at every level, including those just starting.

Craig is a coach that has good insight. The work we’ve done together the past year has opened up my range of approach to a scene, audition, or a character. From the breakdown of each line or the scene as a whole, Craig will push until, as he calls it, “Butter” Craig is really easy to work with and has a chill vibe. If you’re looking for a coach. He is someone that you should look at.
Working with Craig feels very much like a team. He’s open to my ideas and choices, and helps me push them further toward what best suits my interpretation of the scene and character.
Working with Craig has transformed the way I approach my craft. He helped me discover a deeper truth in every moment, unlocking new layers of my potential as both an artist and an actor. His guidance has given my auditions greater precision, impact, and authenticity, while my performances have become more profound, truthful, and emotionally resonant. Every role now feels richer and more fully realized. Thank you, Craig, for challenging me to grow beyond what I thought was possible.
