About Maria
Maria is a flute player, teacher, musicologist, and author. She holds degrees in music from the University of Toronto and has appeared as a guest numerous times on CBC radio and other networks in North America. She has performed as a soloist and in ensembles, including the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra, and many chamber ensembles in Alberta, and has played live on CBC Radio 1 with her flute ensemble, the Calgary Flute Trio. Maria is an enthusiastic and caring teacher who seeks to instill excellence in playing while having fun learning.

Maria is a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher, having taught music in conservatories and universities to students of many different levels. She can help prepare students for Royal Conservatory of Music exams, auditions to colleges and universities, improve their skills, or learn a new instrument. The youngest age for beginning is 5 years old. All lessons are customized to each student.
