About Oddne
I'm Oddne, a Norwegian born and educated Maths teacher who works full time tutoring students in maths, from Functional Skills to GCSE. Having extensive experience with students, including SEND students, my educational philosophy is based around, patience, student wellbeing, and sense of achievement. Though I have ample experience with SEND students, my speciality started off as gifted students, and with experience on both ends of the spectrum I can provide a good learning environment regardless of level. I am generally a friendly and patient tutor, who makes jokes now and then to keep the mood light, to avoid students feeling overwhelmed.

My lessons focus primarily on creating a positive learning environment and a sense of achievement. This means taking the lessons at a pace that the student is comfortable with. Whether that be a slow pace, or quite quick is up to what suits the individual student the best. I am a Norwegian educated Maths Teacher, with a Master's degree in teaching, specialised in teaching mathematics. I've been working as a tutor while studying for my degree, and have since gone full time, and during this time I've tutored students from Functional Skills to GCSE level. Lessons typically range from 1-2 hours, and most of my students fit within the age range of 10-18.
