About Hugo
I am a professional guitarist with extensive experience performing and teaching. I have toured with several bands in Mexico and the UK, gaining diverse performance experience across genres and stages. I have also worked as a session musician and held resident positions in multiple music studios, contributing to recordings and live projects. In addition, I have taught guitar at university level, sharing technique, theory, and performance skills with students of all levels. My lessons are personalized, engaging, and focused on helping students grow as confident, versatile musicians.

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced player, I focus on building strong fundamentals, technique, tone, and musical expression. We can work on your favorite songs, improvisation, riff writing, music theory, or performance skills. As a performing and recording musician with over 14 years of teaching experience, I bring real-world insight into every session. My approach is supportive, structured, and inspiring—helping you become not just a better guitarist, but a well-rounded musician.
