About Santiago
Industrial Designer from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá. I work in the areas of graphic design, illustration and product creation. I own an agenda-making venture called Verbo de Vida, with original illustrations and designs and two years of experience in a lithographic printing company. In my position I made designs for business cards, folders, flyers, posters, magazines, folders, calendars, speakers; additionally the entire pre-press process, handling of PDF standards for lithographic printing and handling of SCREEN brand CTP and programs such as Harlequin RIP. Handling files for digital printing (plotter and laser), handling professional Konica Minolta Bizhub C360i laser printer.

My teaching method consists of two transversal axes, the first is the knowledge of the design program (illustrator, photoshop, indesign) and the second is the theoretical and practical foundation on the process of preparing files for print and digital media. I use a structure of topics, where we cover the bases and advance towards more complex knowledge through theory, workshops and practical examples, I support myself with the use of my own techniques and technological aids such as support videos, example files, images, etc. ... Finally, I promote the space through which the student can formulate specific questions, doubts or concerns about the use of the program, which can be developed in class.
