About Julie
As a young student I struggled with math. I was given additional help from a tutor and I soon became one of the children who would raise a hand when the teacher asked for answers. I’ve found that developing self confidence in one’s math skills earlier has a profoundly positive impact on grasping the tougher math concepts that a student will inevitably encounter in middle school and beyond. I have been tutoring math at the K-6 level for several years and I find it to be quite rewarding.

When you allow me to work with your child, you will see results. I assist students needing help with their daily homework, as well as those just wishing to feel more confident in mathematics. I create worksheets and other study tools tailored to focus upon the precise area of math your child is struggling with. I use colorful objects to aid in the teaching of addition and subtraction, as it’s been proven children are able to grasp early math concepts more quickly through the use of tangible objects.
