About Lebo

My name is Lebo, I am an actress originally from South Africa. I studied acting for film at the New York Film Academy (diploma), and hold a BA in Drama and English Literature from Rhodes University (South Africa). My first professional job was a commercial for Disney Channel and since then I've worked across the spectrum of mediums as an actress. I've performed on stages in New York, Barbados, South Africa, and London. I most recently was in a Netflix show called "SAVAGE BEAUTY" season 2. As a tutor I want to be able to give my students ways in which they can tackle any challenge ahead of them. I want my students to be empowered by the choices they make, and create fun and real moments.

About the lesson

I focus on breaking down the text through scene study, and crafting a grounded and tuned-in performance using the Meisner Technique. Typical lessons will be 45 mins to 1 hour. I have worked as a facilitator and workshop leader for young people at the National Arts Festival in South Africa, and as a director/tutor through Shakespeare Schools Festival. I have also worked with private clients for university entrance auditions. The lessons are for people aged 14+. Whether you need help with an exam, understanding a play or text, or someone to bounce ideas off of!
