About Alexis
Hello!
My name is Alexis, and in my more than 8 years of experience teaching trombone, brass instruments, music theory, and basic piano, I have learned that each student has their own pace and way of connecting with music. That’s why I like to tailor each lesson to individual needs, focusing on strengthening ear training, intonation, rhythm, and musical interpretation, so that learning is natural, fluid, and motivating.
More than just teaching technique, I aim to inspire my students to enjoy the musical process, build confidence, and express themselves through their instrument. I believe music is a form of communication and personal growth, and my goal is to guide each person on that journey.

With over 8 years of experience, I have taught trombone, brass instruments, music theory, and basic piano to students of all ages. I began working with children and young people aged 8 to 17, which allowed me to refine different teaching methods and adapt them to each student’s pace and learning style.
My approach focuses on tailoring each lesson to the student’s individual pace and learning style, with special attention to:
