About Elis
I am a Russian and Czech native speaker. Growing up in both of the countries, I will be able to not only provide you with extensive grammatical skills, but also the cultural context and authentic idioms. With qualifications from Russian schools, Czech IGCSE exams and Czech “maturita” (highschool diploma), I am able to provide assistance in preparation for GCSE, A- level and other exams.
Not only as a passionate tutor, but also a passionate learner, with knowledge of German, Spanish and a beginner in French and Italian. I know from first hand how intimidating it can be to acquire a new language! So I am here to create a friendly and helping atmosphere during the lessons.
With experience as an interpreter, private tutoring, co-working with schools and kindergartens for over 4 years, I easily find connections with people of different age ranges . Being and oracy trainer and mentor at the ESU (English Speaking Union, which is supported by the queen) I will easily help you develop confidence in your conversation skills. Tutoring experience with both foreigners with different levels of knowledge and native speakers, that were looking for help with school materials. I have also cooperated with business companies to provide group lessons for workers and expand their professional vocabulary. I am able to deliver lessons on medical, marketing, business language and other.
The lessons will always be productive, but will always be lead in an entertaining manner. Languages should be fun! After your level of knowledge will be assessed, we will proceed to making a detailed and thought through action plan, tailored to individual needs and character of each student. We will focus on grammar, listening, speaking reading and other activities. I value feedback and satisfaction of my clients. Lessons are reliant on your experience too and everything can be negotiated. My goal is to develop a true interest towards the language and culture in all of my pupils. I am sure that together we will rapidly increase your level of Russian or Czech. I will look forward to hearing from you!
