About Archie

Archie latest role with the BBC is in "Dr Who" where he plays Harri Chandra, father of the doctors sidekick (Belinda Chandra)

Archie trained at Professional Drama School (East 15) which is currently the HIGHEST ranked Drama School in London and the South East.

Archie is also the First Ever Scottish Asian Actor to be invited to work and tour with the Royal Shakespeare Company where he spent 2 years performing in 3 plays and was selected to perform in "Measure For Measure" in front of Prince, now King Charles).

Archie also presented a weekly Arts and Entertainment show for I.T.V. (Eastern Mix) which ran for 4 seasons.

Archie also played the part of Doctor Vinnie for the BBC in the Scottish Soap "River City" (2 years). He continues to work as a professional actor and voice over artist.

Having an agent is a must in our line of work. Archie continues to help guide clients to secure professional representation in Theatre, T.V. and the Film industry.

About the lesson

Stanislavsky Technique is the fundamental basis of my teaching. Emotion is the source of our feelings and through emotional discovery we retain the feelings of every situation we have ever been in throughout our life. Being able to tap into those feelings is the key to unlocking your talent. This is what helps us bring out our best performances from within and become the best we can be.

Getting the best out of an actor is what I do. It’s not always an easy road but the rewards are well worth the journey. A good actor will always prepare well and concentrate through focus which will enhance confidence.

I do travel to some of my clients homes. This does incur an extra charge for travelling. The distance is generally local though I can travel longer distances depending on the day and time.
