About Thuy Anh
I hold a PhD degree in Psychology, and a BA with double majors in Psychology and Mathematics (magna cum laude). I have teaching expertise in three areas: Psychology, Mathematics, and IELTS/TOEFL. Below is a brief summary of my experience.
Teaching Mathematics:
* taught university-level Calculus andProbability & Statistics, SAT I and II Mathematics, as well as IB Mathematics standard level and higher level
* previous IB Math Higher-Level student achieved a 1-score improvement after 3 months
* hold a B.A. degree in Mathematics from Trinity University, U.S. (CGPA: 3.74 out of 4)
* won Mathematical Contest for Modeling, honorable mention
Teaching Psychology:
* taught personality psychology, educational psychology, human motivation, research methods, as well as IB Psychology standard level and higher level
* previous IB Psych standard-level student achieved a 2-score improvement in her papers (out of 7 scores in total) after 3 months
* hold a B.A. degree and a Ph.D degree in Psychology from top universities in the U.S. and in Singapore (CGPA: 3.74 out of 4 and 4.92 out of 5, respectively)
Teaching IELTS & TOEFL:
* achieved IELTS 8.5
* have two years of experience teaching IELTS and TOEFL
* previous IELTS student improved from 5.0 to 6.5 after 2 months
