About Clarice

I graduated from McGill University with a Honours degree in Cognitive Science with a focus on psychology and neuroscience. I also completed some academic terms at the University of Toronto, including 8 psychology courses. I have spent the 7 years working in psychology research, and I have spent the most recent 3 years as a professional clinical Research Analyst and Coordinator at the biggest mental health teaching hospital in Canada. I have worked as a psychology tutor for McGill and University of Western Ontario students and all my students finished their courses with an 80% or higher. I have written publications in high impact-factor journals and have extensive experience writing, editing, formatting and referencing manuscripts and psychology research papers.

About the lesson

WHY I AM DIFFERENT THAN OTHER TUTORS: My comprehensive, detail-oriented and results-driven approach combined with my willingness to go above and beyond for you in multiple ways will uniquely prepare your for success in reaching your academic goal.

For example:
- For undergraduate psychology courses: I will take your course material and textbook content and help you create notes, quizzes, diagrams and more that you can keep, re-use, and study to help with understanding, comprehension and memorization (free of charge - I will do this between lessons)
- For graduate students: I will help with thesis writing, manuscript editing, referencing, APA formatting, stylistic elements, consort diagrams, etc.
- I will provide additional resources (websites, online books, publications) to supplement learning and help you build skills to reach your academic goals.

I am here to support you - I am not satisfied until you are. I am committed to helping you reach your academic goals and I will go the extra mile to make sure you get the most out of your learning experience.

Clarice is the best tutor I have ever had. She’s friendly, knowledgeable and easygoing so it made our first session not awkward at all which I really appreciated! Clarice is able to help me identify problem areas and goals and understand exactly what work I need help on. I never have heard her say “I’m not sure.” She has helped me pass many of my university courses and actually helps me understand concepts rather then memorize. She is very organized and even helped me make a colour coded schedule for every class I have with every due date in its syllabus.
