About SHOUVIK

I am an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering with a strong blend of academic excellence, industry experience, and practical software development knowledge.

I completed my M.Tech in Distributed and Mobile Computing from Jadavpur University and was awarded the University Gold Medal for academic excellence. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, with active interests in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Large Language Models, and advanced computing systems.

Before moving into academia, I worked with organizations including TCS, Airbus Group India, and CloudKaptan Consultancy Services. My industry experience spans Python, full-stack development, backend engineering, AWS cloud services, APIs, automation, and modern software development practices.

What makes my teaching different is that I do not focus only on theory. I help students understand how concepts are actually used in real software projects, technical interviews, academic work, and industry environments.

I enjoy teaching students from beginner to advanced levels and especially helping those who feel programming is difficult or confusing. My goal is to make complex concepts simple, practical, and easy to apply, while helping students become confident and independent problem solvers.

Whether you are learning programming from scratch, preparing for university exams or interviews, working on a project, or trying to strengthen your development skills, I can guide you with a structured and practical approach.

About the lesson

I believe programming is best learned by understanding concepts clearly and then applying them through hands-on practice. My classes are structured around short explanations, live coding, guided problem solving, and practical exercises so that students do not just memorize syntax but learn how to think like a programmer.

Depending on the student’s level, I cover topics such as Python, C/C++, Data Structures and Algorithms, Web Development, Databases, Cloud Computing, and introductory AI/ML. I also help students with debugging, project planning, coding assignments, interview preparation, and academic projects.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and example-driven. I explain difficult concepts using simple analogies and gradually move from basic examples to real-world problems.

These classes are suitable for (concealed information) students, beginners in programming, and working professionals who want to strengthen their software development skills or prepare for technical interviews.
