About Kamma

Hello! I’m Kamma.

I’m a qualified, certified and experienced Early Years tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience, passionate about helping little learners (ages 3–5 and children with need to update foundational concepts) grow in confidence and curiosity.
Over the years, I have updated my skills in Jolly phonics and modern pedagogy in order to help young learners achieve their academic goals. I have been privileged to have helped over 500 young learners read and find new love for mathematics and the world around them.

I support children across all areas of the EYFS framework, including communication and language, early literacy and numeracy, personal and social development, expressive arts and understanding the world.

My approach is warm, patient and play-based. I use songs, stories, games, and creative activities to spark a love for learning while building the essential skills children need for school and beyond. Each session is carefully tailored to your child’s personality and pace, because every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and celebrated in their learning journey.

Parents can feel reassured knowing their child will be guided in a nurturing, positive, and safe environment, where making mistakes is part of learning and every little step forward is celebrated. I believe that young learners need to feel safe and comfortable in order to properly grasp a concept that is why safety even in the virtual space is highly encouraged in my classes.

My personal goal is to help children develop a lifelong love of learning by encouraging their natural curiosity and creativity.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy storytelling, reading, travelling, and painting. I look forward to working with your child and supporting them through their important early years.

About the lesson

My lessons are for young learners ages 3 to 7.
Children who need assistance with early years related subjects like phonics and reading are highly welcome here. These lessons are interactive, fun, sometimes gamified and adapted to each child's level and learning style.
The first class will be a free trial class of 60 minutes. Subsequent classes will also last for 60 minutes per session. Each lesson will be well structured and timed to accommodate learning time, student practice and corrections. In each lesson, formative assessment will be actively practiced to support growth and proper understanding of each concept. With a decade of experience in this field, I have been privileged to have helped over 500 young learners both online and in physical classrooms. I cannot wait to celebrate each milestone with you.
