Qualified and experienced teacher of Spanish and EFL - Spanish tutor with Lorena

Lorena is a native speaker, has experience in the Sixth Form sector as she has worked in two different Sixth Form Colleges. She has also worked in a Secondary School. Lorena knows the exam board well after having prepared students for AS and A2 exams for three years. She has considerable IT skills which she puts to good use in her work.
Lorena has worked in the Modern Languages department as a language assistant. She has provided individual or small group conversational lessons to students studying Spanish and given them support in their preparation for the oral exam. She prepared authentic and appropriate material to suit the level of the students.
Lorena has great rapport with students and, although she was only contracted to work six hours a week, she was always prepared to offer her time for the benefit of the students beyond her contractual duties.
In her work at the college Lorena has demonstrated admirable qualities of patience and understanding in all her dealings with students. She has a genuine interest in promoting the language and culture of Spain which she communicates to students in a positive and enthusiastic manner. The college has students of a wide range of ability and Lorena was able to adapt successfully to reach each one at the appropriate level.
Lorena managed to get the best out of every student and gave them confidence to perform to the best of their ability in the spoken language as well as improving the quality of their written work. Student feedback was unanimously positive and students all appreciated the individual attention and time she gave each and every one of them.
