About Aloysius
I trained to teach Modern Languages at the University of Yaounde I, the University of Leicester in the UK where I obtained Qualified Teacher's Status for England and Wales and did certification in the teaching of German at Newcastle University. I've taught English at the following institutions: the University of Buea, the Cambridge Education Group (ONCampus) at Coventry University and the Buea Intensive English Program. I've taught French at different secondary schools across the UK and at grade school in Canada. Mine has been a track record of satisfied students and employers. I've taught French (and English) for 20 years in formal classrooms and tutored students privately. I've taught from elementary to university level. My lessons are tailored to suit the student's level and needs. I get the student to start using the language from day one. I begin by assessing and understanding the student's ability in French. My lessons involve opportunities for learners to listen to different accents, converse in their desired accent, read and write for specific purposes. Expect to start sending emails, creating recipes, writing a letter, writing a resume, talking about your interests, listening to music, discussing movies, etc. in French from day one. I believe in purposeful interaction as the best means to achieve fluency in a second language. T
