About RIDDHI-Pdge

I'm Riddhi — a qualified Drama teacher currently teaching at an international school in India, and a National Silver Medalist in acting.

Drama found me early. I didn't just study acting — I competed, performed, and won at the national level before I ever stepped into a classroom as a teacher. That combination of competition experience and structured teaching gives my students something rare: technique that has been tested under real pressure, then simplified to work in a lesson setting.

I hold a degree in Multimedia and Mass Communication from the University of Mumbai and have 5 years of hands-on drama experience — including 2 years guiding students from complete beginners to confident performers at an international school.

I teach in English, Hindi, and Marathi. That means students from India, the diaspora, or anyone who wants a native English-speaking coach from outside the Western market can work with me in the language that feels most natural to them — and at a rate that actually makes sense for global students.

I believe acting is not a talent reserved for the naturally gifted. It's a skill, and like every skill, it can be built. My job is to find where you are right now and show you the next step.

About the lesson

Every lesson is built around one question: what does this student need most right now?

I don't use a fixed curriculum. I build each session around your goal — whether that's getting comfortable in front of a camera for the first time, preparing a monologue for an audition, or developing the kind of stage presence that makes people stop and pay attention.

What a session might include:
— Emotional availability: how to access real, grounded feeling instead of performing it
— Voice and diction: projection, articulation, accent work in English or Hindi
— Body language and physicality: what your body communicates before you say a word
— Script analysis: breaking down a character's psychology and motivation
— Monologue and scene work with real-time directorial feedback
— Audition and self-tape coaching: how to deliver on camera with no warm-up

For beginners, we start with the fundamentals — building comfort in front of an audience, finding your voice, learning what it actually means to inhabit a character. For more advanced students, we go deeper into character psychology, cold reading, and performance consistency under pressure.

I give feedback in the moment, not just at the end. If something isn't working, I'll stop, explain exactly why, show you the adjustment, and we'll run it again until you can feel the difference yourself. That's how growth actually happens.
