About Amy

My main area of expertise is Physics and can teach this to a university level. Maths is the language of Physics and I can also teach this to a high level. My Master's degree is in Medical Imaging. I have tutored many national 5 and higher students to a pass and I have extensive knowledge in both the maths and physics curriculums.

I passed my Certificate in English Language Teaching for Adults (CELTA) at Basil Paterson in October 2018. I have also worked at International House, Jesi, Italy where I completed an Internship; this consisted of me conducting conversation classes to help students improve their vocabulary and their fluency. I have also worked as an EFL/ESL teacher at Lines Language School; which is a British Council accredited summer school for international students, where I taught students between the age of 12 and 15. I taught students who had CEFR levels between B1 and C1 but I am happy to help students of any level and of any age. I currently work for International House Budapest where I have been teaching adults of all CEFR levels, both General and Business English.

About the lesson

I am an enthusiastic and friendly individual, who is patient and kind. I love to teach in an informal environment. I have worked with young children and young adults. I prefer to teach using positive feedback and try to keep the subject exciting and engaging.
