About Pragya

I am a qualified and dedicated English teacher with an experience of about 7 years, with English as one of my main teaching subjects. I am a certified teacher and have gained valuable teaching experience in Canada through working with students in the school system.

My background has helped me develop a patient, supportive, and student-focused approach to teaching English. I understand that every learner has different strengths and areas for improvement, so I adapt my lessons to their individual needs and learning pace.

I can support students with English grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, speaking, comprehension, communication skills, academic English, homework, and English proficiency exam preparation. My goal is not only to help students improve their English but also to build their confidence and make them comfortable using the language.

Whether you are a beginner, school student, adult learner, or preparing for an English proficiency exam, I will create lessons that are practical, engaging, and focused on helping you reach your goals.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centered, supportive, and practical. I believe students learn best when lessons are adapted to their individual level, goals, and learning style. I explain concepts clearly, provide examples, and give students plenty of opportunities to practice and ask questions.

A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous learning, followed by the introduction of a new concept. We then work through examples together before moving to guided and independent practice. I provide feedback throughout the lesson and finish with a short review or activity to check understanding.

What sets me apart is my teaching background and my ability to work patiently with students at different levels. I focus not only on correct answers but also on helping students understand the reason behind them. I encourage students to build confidence, improve their communication skills, and become independent learners.

My lessons are suitable for elementary, middle school, high school, and adult learners. I can help students with English grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, speaking, pronunciation, comprehension, academic English, homework, assignments, and English proficiency exam preparation. Lessons can be customized for beginners, intermediate, or advanced learners according to their specific needs and goals.
