About Victoria

Hello.

The first thing I would tell you is that I love my subject, and I love showing students exactly why I do. Although the end result is usually about getting the right grades, I can help you do this whilst showing you the beauties of literature and language.

I will show you how to understand a text and how it is constructed for maximum effect, and then show you how to write about this yourself with confidence and academic rigour.

About the lesson

I bring warmth and enthusiasm to my teaching, coupled with an excellent technical understanding of how to succeed and excel in GCSE and A level English. As well as being a successful classroom teacher, I have worked as a GCSE literature examiner so am able to show students exactly what is required of them and how they can stand out from the crowd.

I am an English specialist with a degree in English literature.

I have a PGCE and full DBS.
