I tend to use Zoom for online sessions (sometimes in conjunction with Bitpaper) as it has many tools and features specially designed for interactive and visual learning.

About the lesson

I employ various teaching methods to suit the individual based on skills development and adaptation. I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, maths manipulatives, and interactive tools to engage the learner followed by practice exam papers if required, giving feedback as appropriate.

In my experience, fast accurate recall of basic maths facts along with breaking down the problem in order to solve it achieves excellent results. A clear explanation is provided.

I follow the British school curriculum at KS1, KS2 and KS3.
