About Ayano
My name is Ayano, and I am a qualified primary school teacher from Japan with about 5 years of classroom experience and 3 years of experience working in an after-school service supporting children with special needs. I enjoy teaching because it allows me to share my culture and support learners in reaching their goals. Japanese can be challenging, but it is also a fascinating and beautiful language, and I want more people to discover its richness. I am also curious to see how learners from different backgrounds study Japanese. I like Japanese manga and anime, and I often use cultural topics to make lessons fun. I welcome learners of all ages and levels, from children to adults. Above all, I want my students to enjoy the learning process in a positive and friendly atmosphere.

My lessons are interactive and practical, meaning students actively participate through conversation, questions, and activities rather than only listening. Depending on students’ needs, I may also include fun elements such as simple games, songs, stories, or cultural materials to make learning more enjoyable and memorable.
A typical lesson is 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s preference.
I am a qualified primary school teacher from Japan with about 5 years of teaching experience, including teaching children aged 6 to 12 and supporting learners with special needs. In addition, I hold a certification as a Certified Child Instructor, which has given me further expertise in supporting children’s learning and development. I can also introduce aspects of Japanese school life and culture.
I teach both children and adults, from complete beginners to advanced learners, and I also provide JLPT preparation. Most importantly, I want my students to feel free to make mistakes, because mistakes are part of the learning process. Let’s learn Japanese together in a fun and positive way!
