About Muhammad
Hello! My name is Muhammad Waqas, and I am a dedicated mathematics tutor with a Master’s degree in Mathematics and over six years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with students from different levels—primary, secondary, and high school—and helped them achieve excellent results in their studies and exams. I am passionate about making mathematics simple and enjoyable. I understand that many students feel nervous about math, so I focus on building their confidence through clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and plenty of practice. My strength is turning difficult concepts into something students can understand and apply with ease. Professionalism, patience, and commitment define my teaching style. I take the time to understand each student’s unique needs and adjust my lessons accordingly. Many of my students have told me that my encouragement and support helped them not only improve their grades but also enjoy learning math for the first time. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you and helping you reach your academic goals with confidence!

My teaching approach is based on the Concrete–Representational–Abstract (CRA) method, which helps students build a strong foundation in mathematics. I begin with simple, practical examples (concrete), then use visual aids and diagrams (representational), and finally guide students to solve abstract mathematical problems with confidence.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of the previous topic to ensure continuity. Then, I introduce the new concept step by step, explain it with examples, and give students plenty of practice questions to strengthen understanding. I also dedicate time for problem-solving strategies, exam-style questions, and personalized feedback at the end of each lesson.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to explain complex topics in a clear and simple way, making math less intimidating and more enjoyable. I adapt my methods to each student’s learning style, ensuring that every learner progresses at their own pace.
My lessons are designed for primary, secondary, and high school students, including those preparing for GCSE, IGCSE, O Level, and A Level exams. Whether you want to strengthen your basics, improve your grades, or prepare for challenging exams, I am here to guide you every step of the way.
