I am a qualified mathematics teacher with 20 years classroom experience, and have taught in Scotland, England, Qatar and Kuwait. During this time I have taught students from many different cultural backgrounds and nationalities, and those from across the ability range. In Scotland I have taught national 4, 5 and 6, in England key stage 3, GCSE and A level mathematics, and abroad I have taught IGCSE and A level. Through my wide experience, I have learned how to be an effective communicator and listener. I have an infectious enthusiasm for my subject, and have a naturally calm and patient approach. Teaching to me is about working with the individual, and taking time to understand any misconceptions they may be having. My experience has giving me the ability to be an adaptable and skilled educator.
