About Yvonne
Hello! I’m Yvonne, a trained and passionate Mathematics and Chemistry teacher with experience teaching secondary school students and supporting learners to develop confidence, understanding and strong examination skills.
I offer engaging and customized online lessons in Mathematics and Chemistry, tailored to each learner’s level, pace, and individual needs.
My teaching approach focuses on making concepts simple and easy to understand rather than relying on memorisation. I encourage students to ask questions, practise consistently and develop the confidence to solve problems independently.

My lessons are personalised, interactive and focused on helping students truly understand Mathematics and Chemistry.
Before we begin, I take time to understand the student’s current level, learning goals and areas where they need support. I then tailor each lesson to their specific needs and learning pace.
During the lessons, I explain concepts step by step using clear examples, guided practice and questions. Students are encouraged to participate, ask questions and work through problems rather than simply listen.
For students preparing for KCSE, IGCSE or Cambridge examinations, I also incorporate exam-style questions, revision exercises and examination techniques to help them improve both their understanding and confidence.
