I am currently a classroom teacher in a high performing state school, and therefore experienced in guiding students to achieving their maximum potential. My time as a teacher means I have plenty of experience in adapting my approach and teaching style to suit the needs of my students. I have experience with teaching students with SEN such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyscalculia. A typical lesson with me would be an hour in length and involve working through areas which the student requires development in. This may involve the student completing some work independently which can be checked during the lesson, or collaboratively with me promoting and guiding them to a correct understanding of the answer. In addition to being a qualified maths teacher, I am fully DBS checked, and graduated with 1st class honours from the University of Leeds with a Masters in Mathematics. I am available for tutoring GCSE students (UK year 10 or 11) studying either higher tier or foundation.
