About Dr Alisha

Hi, my name is Dr Alisha and I’m a qualified Dentist working in NHS & Private Dentistry with experience across general practice, emergencies, and patient care. I also practise Private Aesthetic Dentistry, helping patients with Smile Makeovers and cosmetic treatments including Composite Bonding and Cosmetic Crowns/Veneers. Alongside this, I’m completing a Master’s Level 7 Diploma in Cosmetic Dermatology and Facial Injectables with Harley Academy in London — one of the highest recognised qualifications in Aesthetic Medicine.

I understand how overwhelming lectures, exams, and clinical work can feel — I’ve been through it myself. With my extensive qualifications, I’ve chosen tutoring because I genuinely love supporting students to build knowledge and pass exams. To put it simply, I’ll read your lectures, organise your notes, explain everything clearly, and create tailored exam questions and mocks so you feel fully prepared without the stress.

About the lesson

As a dentistry tutor, I specialise in:

- Exam & revision support — breaking down complex topics into clear, structured study plans.

- Lecture simplification — structured exam-ready notes and tailored practice questions based on your curriculum.

- OSCE preparation — roleplay stations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and communication practice.

- Core sciences — Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Pharmacology explained with clarity.

- Clinical dentistry — Restorative, Endodontics, Radiograph interpretation, Diagnosis, Periodontology, Treatment Planning, and Emergency Appointment Management.

- Tailored exam materials — personalised mock exams and structured revision resources.

My focus is to help you build clarity, structure, and confidence under exam pressure — so you walk into every assessment knowing exactly what to expect and how to succeed.

For new graduates and practising dentists:

- I also offer practical support to build confidence in day-to-day practice and future career growth. This includes NHS survival skills such as understanding the band system, managing emergencies, and communicating effectively with patients.

- I cover treatment planning and clinical notes to ensure your records are clear, structured, and professional, along with Periodontology (BPE charting, diagnosis, and treatment strategies) and Restorative dentistry (caries management, composites, crowns, bridges, and dentures).

- I also provide guidance on professionalism and medico-legal awareness — including consent, record-keeping, and risk management — as well as tailored support for transitioning into private dentistry with confidence in both workflow and communication.
