About Kim
I’m a qualified primary teacher and a mum, so I’ve seen learning from both sides. I know how much difference it can make when a child has someone who takes the time to work out what they need rather than just pushing on.
I’ve worked with children across primary age, including pupils with SEND, and I really enjoy helping children who have lost confidence or started to believe they’re “not good” at something. I’m patient, down to earth and I explain things in a way that makes sense to the child in front of me.
For me, tutoring isn’t about piling on more work. It’s about filling the gaps, making things feel manageable and helping children feel proud of what they can do.

My lessons are very much based around the child I’m teaching. I don’t expect every child to learn in the same way, so I’ll change how I explain something, slow it down, make it more practical or build in a game if that helps it click.
I’m a qualified primary teacher with SEND experience and I can support with KS2 Maths and English, SATs and 11+ preparation. I want children to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and having another go without feeling under pressure. The aim is to help them understand what they’re doing and feel a bit more confident each week.
