About Sophie
I am an experiencing primary school teacher passionate about providing a nurturing, safe learning environment for my students. Currently, I am teaching in year six, and I have experience in years three and four. I have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum. Beyond this, I have a first class BA (Hons) History degree and an MA in History from Cardiff University. Last year, I competed a PGDE (Primary Education) and have experience of educational research. As such, I have an excellent understanding of the most cutting edge primary education research; I have used this to impact the progress of the children I work with and have received excellent results. I have high expectations for all of my students and enjoy helping them reach their individual potent. I have tutored students in a range of subjects - including children who are new to English.
