About Nikki
As a teacher, I would be described as passionate, meticulous and creative. I believe in making education accessible, engaging and relevant and that education should reach further than the classroom. I create a learning environment based on respect, reflective communication and camaraderie that delivers results for children academically, personally and socially. Children leave my lessons with the self-esteem to aim high in all they do and the self-awareness to be confident in who they are as a person. They have the confidence to challenge themselves within maths knowing they have built the foundations in maths not just learnt processes.

As a passionate mathematician I believe children should learn to enjoy maths seeing its value and application in their day-to-day activities. To achieve this children need to be equipped with the basics and fundamentals of maths before being able to utilise these skills with more higher-level maths. I ensure depth of knowledge not just understanding the mathematical processes. Lessons are 1 hour and delivered online. Having gained a 1st class Business degree and a PGCE I worked at a leading British international school as a primary class teacher. I now tutor maths to primary school-aged children.
